Why is there a transaction called “Visa Provisioning Service AU $0.00” when my card is added to Click to Pay?

This is a temporary $0.00 authorisation from Visa that may appear when your debit card is enrolled in Click to Pay. It’s used to verify your card details and confirm the card is active. It’s not a charge and won’t affect your account balance. The authorisation will automatically be removed within 7 days.
