Do I need to tell ubank I’m travelling overseas or making international transactions?

Yes, if you are planning on using your ubank card overseas, please tell us when and where you’re going. This helps reduce the chance of your transactions getting blocked.

You can tell us about your overseas trip in the ubank app, simply hit “Settings” then “Travelling overseas” and follow the prompts.

Please note there are some locations where you won’t be able to access your accounts due to international sanctions.

If your card gets blocked whilst travelling, please call +61 2 9070 0202. We’re available between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, and between 8am and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday (Sydney time).

If you lose your card on your travels, you can lock it in your app. Simply log into the app, tap “Cards” and turn on “Lock card”.
