What happens if I transfer funds on a non-business day?

Fast Payments via the New Payments Platform (NPP) can be created on the ubank mobile apps 24/7 365 days a year to eligible accounts with participating Financial Institutions. You can make a Fast Payment from ubank’s deposit and savings accounts including USpend, USave, USaver Reach and USaver SMSF.

If you transfer from the ubank website to any external bank account or transfer funds using our mobile apps to an account that is not eligible to receive Fast Payments, we will process your transfer on the next business day.

Note: Future dated transfers set to occur on a non-business day will be deducted from your balance on the day and processed the next business day.

If you transfer from an external bank into ubank we will credit your account as soon as we’ve received the funds. If your external bank sends the funds via Fast Payments to an eligible deposit or savings account, the funds will be credited to your ubank account in near real time 24/7 365 days a year.

Please keep in mind the funds may remain with your external bank until the next business day when they can be sent to ubank if they do not offer Fast Payments.
